Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are looking for the local experience. We think the best way to see any place is through the eyes of the people who live there. It will be amazing to also understand the local culture more and meet the people who live this day to day.

Interests

As Damien is in the wine industry food and wine are his biggest loves in life with travelling and animals close behind. Kate is a veterinarian so animals would be her first love as well as travel, running and fitness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kate: one month in Lesotho, Africa carrying out charity research on horses that are working with the local people.

Damien: as a child I had a small roll in the film Scooby Doo along side Rohan Atkinson, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prince Jnr.

Teach, Learn, Share

Damien is a trained cook as well as has a masterful knowledge of wine, so anything gastronomic.

Kate as a vet has a vast knowledge of animals and science as well as being keen on anything fitness wise.

We both love travel and know a lot about Australia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Would be happy to help cook and would love to share meals. As well as any fitness training we would happily show what we know. Also life experiences and just plane old love of a friendly chat.
