Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to get a better and slightly different traveling experience. I've had a couple friends who recommended it and thought I would try it out for future trips.

Interests

My interests involve becoming friends with people who aren't my age. Hanging out with people whose first language isn't the same as mine. Growing more everyday by each interaction I encounter. Essentially, traveling, learning, and working.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is all types of music. With a cup of coffee, some good friends, or cool vibes I will sit and listen to anything. I love reading! I'm more of a non fiction type of reader but lately I've gotten into some really good fan fiction literature, as well as essays. As far as movies go ... I'll watch just about anything except scary movies, its just not my thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can honestly say one of the most amazing things I've done is started the year off with hiking up the highest peak in the Caribbean, El Pico Duarte en la Republica Dominicana. The second best is joining the peace corp and deciding to serve in a beautiful county, Mozambique. It's been quite a struggle some days but I wouldn't trade this experience for anything else.
