I'm an architecture student from Sweden. Not that my profession is the main thing I want you to know about me, but it is really the main reason for me to travel, to look at buildings. Maybe you think that sounds boring, but sit down with me for a while; sometimes I manage to convince people that buildings are really interesting. :)
I'm sort of equal parts stiff intellectual as I am just silly, ridiculous, even giddy!(!!!)
I'm a feminist and leaning to the left. I think people say that I'm pretty caring and kind. And I have an extremely infectious laugh. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning a trip to the US on a travel sholarship to look at interesting architecture. But of course I choose couchsurfing mainly for the possibility to meet interesting people and get to know the culture better. But if you're not in to socialising that's cool too, I can take care of myself.

I've never been to the US, but sometimes I feel like I've so much american TV and read som many american novels that it's like a second home.

I live in a home with four of my closest friends. Right now we will probably not take any one in, but come summer perhaps.

Interests

I'm in to art, mainly modern and contemporary, but classical too. I like reading and films, theatre and even opera. I pretty much take in all kinds of culture.
I like to meet new people, partying, drinking or just hanging out, getting into heavy philosophical discussions or talking about just whatever.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music can be pretty broad. Anything from Nina Simone to Sigur Rós to classical music to singer-songwriters. Even some punk, but not hardcore or heavy metal.

Movies. Just do me a favor and see I am love, it's probably my favourite. But I like anything from Bergman to Pixar and sappy romcoms, as long as it's... good...? Bad can be pretty good though. Like zombie movies. :)

Books. Oh lots. Can't say a favourite book but I really like Joyce Carol Oates. For instance.
