About Me

I'm an Art Major & Film student. I divide my time between University hours and work but, whenever I have free time I'm certainly doing some kind of sport or having drinks with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A couple of years ago I suddenly decided to visit a friend in Brazil who lived in a tiny dorm-room. Since it was so last minute I couldn't find any free Hotel room I could afford . So, I ended up staying in the couch from one of his friends and that was one of the best & most entertaining travelling expieriencies I had.

Since then I thought I could give back and host some couchsurfers myself & even try couchsurfing again myself!

Interests

I'm a funky mixture between a sporty-person & an art lover. I enjoy playing almost every type of sports (Futbol/soccer, Field Hockey & Rugby are my fovourites) and I absolutely love watching movies & tv-series, listening to music and reading.

At least once a week I enjoy going out for drinks with my friends. I'm an amateur bartender & a beer lover .

Music, Movies, and Books

I'ts hard for me to pin-point just some of my favourite movies and books because I have a lot! I absolutely love old movies, specially the ones from the 60's "New waves" from french directors like Godard & Truffaut. I also enjoy Woody Allen movies but, my newest favourite director is Xavier Dolan.

I like a lot of different types of music but I mostly listen to indie, alternative rock, reggae & house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I'm not sure if is that amazing but it certainly was a challenge: a while back, I put all my life on hold to go to be an "Au - pair" (part-time nanny) in Germany & travel all over Europe for a year.

This experience was one of the best things I have ever done. I took care of two lovely kids (a boy & a girl), traveled alll around Germany and Europe and met a lot of awsome people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that we learn something new with every experience. No matter how old we get or how much we think we know, there is always something new to learn from every person that crosses our path.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think couchsurfing is a great way to share our own culture and experiencies with our hosts but, at the same time, learn from theirs.
