About Me

I'm Lisa, studying Food Science and Biotechnology in Vienna and enjoy living in this lively and international but at the same time cosy city. I'm openminded and tolerant, love nature and good food and can't go out of the house without taking breakfast :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people from all over the world and to show them my city and the austrian way of live. On the other hand I love travelling and to explore other countries and cultures. To my mind couchsurfing is one of the best ways to come in touch with people and cultures from all over the world :)

Interests

My favourite ways to spend my time are doing sports and enjoy the nature, cook and eat delicous food and meeting my friends for having a nice evening together. In the holidays I'm working as skiing instuctor in the mountains of Salzburg where I grew up. Despite some injuries in the knee I won't ever stop skiing, because it is one of my favourite hobbys :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Concerning music I'm quite openminded and try out new genres every now and then. I prefer indie and rock but I don't say no to electronic music, hip hop or jazz either. I really like spending an evening with my friends in the cinema. Actually my favourite film is "Now you see Me".
Unfortunately I don't have so much time to read books which are not related with my field of study at the moment, however I like to read thrillers, real stories and biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After school I lived with a friend nearly 4 months in Varanasi, the most holy city of India. We worked in a school there as volunteers and had a good time with sooo many adventures and experiences.
One of the funniest things I ever did in my live was to play Holi (the festival of colours) with the indian kids, I will always remember my face when I had the first look to the mirror ;-)

Countries I’ve Visited
