I just graduated with my BA in South Asian studies, and it is time to go explore the world once again.
Traveling is so rich, so vast and it teaches you about countless things - you get the chance to grow and learn about yourself. And as we are always changing, why not do it traveling and exploring?

I prefer to be a traveler rather than a tourist, and that's also why I love Couchsurfing. In this community you get in touch with the local culture and people and you really experience the place you're in. I think this is the best way to travel - being a part of where you are! I am a curious person, and learning and exploring new places, things, people etc. is always interesting.

This platform is a perfect way to combine traveling and my interest. And this opens the opportunity even more to meet new people and really get under the skin of a new place or culture. I wish to see new places for what they are and learn through locals rather than tourist companies.

Interests

I love taking photographs, read, write, talk with other people and observe other cultures and their norms. I like to be active, so hiking, walking or any such thing is awesome.
I'm interested in spirituality and I like to talk or discuss about this subject. And lastly, I love to learn something new and get educated.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: ACDC, Shakira, LOC, Snatam Saur, Jack Johnson, reggae, Alt-J etc. - I have a broad taste of music.
Books: Harry Potter series, the way of love, educational books in general.
Movies: finding Nemo, one flew over the cuckoo's nest, any Johnny Depp or Tim Horton movie, captain fantastic. I also love watching documentaries such as; cowspiracy, living on 1 dollar a day, what the health, Indias daughter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Lived in India
- I have walked the Camino de Santiago - 920 km.
- I sky dived in Brazil
- Climbed to the top of an active vulcano in chile
