I am a down to earth danish guy, who studies software engineering in Aalborg, Denmark. Besides IT, I spend my time playing and writing music (guitar and singing), and I also take a lot of photos.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my life I have travelled a lot. But it has always been with company and by staying on hotels. Couchsurfing seemed like the perfect match for trying something different. I love to experience the area from within through and with a local.

Interests

I have been playing the guitar for several years and I started singing a few years back. Although my main interest is tech and music, I feel like I have quite a broad field of interests. I like science, math, exciting literature and general talks about the world. Oh, and I take a lot of photos :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I´ve listened to all genres of music. Everything from classical to blues to rock to indie and back. I really love bands like Snarky Puppy, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Bon Iver, Ben Howard, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Kashmir(DK), Mew(DK). But also the occasional pop-hit ;)

I really like movies where you have to think and where you get a surprise ending - Fight Club for example ;) But also more common ones like the Batman Trilogy.

I am into reading all sorts of literature: science fiction, popular science, fantasy, fiction, and self-improvement books ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a dare I sang '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' at a karaoke in a park in Berlin in front of approx. 500 people. Amazingly fun and scary ;D

I am an honest, optimistic guy with a lot of good stories and self-written songs. I can tell and show a lot about the danish way of living and perhaps make a good danish meal or two ;)
