Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A couple of months ago I decided to travel to Dublin and invited a few friends to come along, however they stood me up so I've ended up travelling on my own. It was the first time I was doing so, so I wanted to share my experience with someone local. I thought that due to the circumstances why not try something new ?

Now that I've tried it I can say that Couchsurfing is a brilliant experience!! I love the idea of meeting people while you travel, whether I travel alone or with friends. I always like learning about new cultures and different ways of life, so I think CS provides the best opportunity to do so .

Interests

I love reading and travelling. I've recently taken up photography as a hobby so I´m starting to take my first steps.

I also enjoy having drinks with my friends, chat with them, going to the cinema and going to the gym.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock music, pop rock, indie... I listen to a lot of different groups, really, so can't really pick a favourite type of music.

Movies? I love drama, but I also like war movies, thrillers, history... as long as they're not horror, cheesy romantic or stupid comedy films I'm ok :P

I love reading so I tend to reading anything that falls on my hands!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe that the fact that I've been in the UK for 2 years on my own and that I got a proper job without a lot of experience is pretty amazing :)

Apart from that, I travelled to 10 different countries in just one year while I was doing an Erasmus in Poland!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm talkative so I can give good conversation, I can cook some Spanish meals as well... I'm basically an easy person to be around and to spend time with :P

Also, I've had a few international experiences so I'm always interested to know about other's culture and share my own.

I'm a very tidy and polite person, so I understand the respect you have to share for others when they're willing to share their house with you, I think that's something to share.
