I am currently in school in Auburn, AL. I am studying travel photography and ethology. I want to become a world traveler. I spend my off time skydiving, scuba diving, paddle boarding, long boarding, hiking and exploring. Travel and meeting new people are two of my favorite things to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to host travelers while I am studying in different parts of the United States. After I finish my studies I will begin traveling the world for three to five years and hope to use this site to my new friends around the world.

I enjoy a wide range of music. I enjoy almost all music actually. All Time Low - The Party Scene is my absolute favorite song. Hoodwinked and Big Fish are my favorite movies. Eragon is my favorite book series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked at a restaurant in Pier Park in Panama City Beach. One afternoon a small boy around the age of 5, was standing alone and crying. I went to the boy and tried to comfort him. He was belligerent and I could hardly understand him. Eventually the boy told me his name and that he was missing from his parents. He said they were going to get me ice-cream. I took him to a table and gave him some crayons and ice cream, he continued crying. I called my manager over and then contacted security. I sat and tried to comfort the boy for about thirty minutes. He had finally began to calm down. I looked up and saw a worried mother running towards me, a dad running behind, a young girl and a security guard followed. The boy jumped out of his seat and into his mothers arms. They were both crying out of happiness. The family thanked me and left to spend the rest of their vacation together.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am currently learning Spanish and plan to learn more languages. In my travels I hope to help people learn English and about the United States, while also learn about their cultures. I hope to share my experiences around the world with other students studying the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know a lump sum about Auburn and it's history. I can give hosts a warm place to stay while also helping them learn about the town. I also know the local state park inside and out.
