About Me

Hi! I'm Yolanda. I have finished my studies of french literature in Barcelona. I have lived once in the south of France (Toulouse), for my Erasmus, and last year I was working as a spanish teacher in a french school, this time in the north (Douai). This year I'm finishing a master to become a teacher in Valencia. I grew up by the mediterranean sea, in a town called Altea (in the south of the catalan countries).

I like to travel and I would like to travel more, to discover the world, the people and the infinity ways of thinking and other world views.

I have used couchsurfing only twice, but I have always though that is an amazing idea, so I want to have more experiences with it. Like these, I can visit places where there is not people I know, and instead of looking for the places I do know people, I'll know people in places I don't know.

I love -as many people-, cinema, beer and music. Good books will be always be apreciated. I have fun going to festivals, being with old friends, and making new ones. I use to play the cello and the saxophone, and I can play a little bit the ukelele and the guitar (very very little). To say it shortly, I really like art. I'm happy almost all the time and I try to be very positive. One of the things I do the most is talking about diferent subjects (I only close my mouth when there is nothing to say... so not a lot of times hahaha). Even if I can also listen what the others have to say hahahhaha I love to learn things and I'm REALLY passionated with languages, even if I cannot speak them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I think that is a really good idea to travel, in the way I understand the word. Finding people along the way is learning and discovering, and that helps to open people's mind.

I'm motivated to travel this way and I'm sure I'm gonna like it every time!
