About Me

I'm an open minded, tolerant viking. I'm highly optimistic in most aspects of life and am a strong believer in friendliness, sharing and respect.

I'm a circus artist and I always seek out the jugglers wherever I am going. For me it's a wonderful way to bond with strangers, to meditate and of course to have fun. If the need arises, it's also a craft from which you can live almost no matter where you are. I always carry a small circus in my backpack and would love to learn, teach or jam with you!

Exploring the local culture of new places is a passion of mine. I'm into all kinds of live music and exhibitions, but punk concerts, alternative art and street art are my favorites. I like relaxing moments with a beer, a good friend and a sunset, but I also like rave parties and everything in between these two. But most important of all: I like you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I love meeting new people, especially people open minded enough to host strangers.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite recent book has to be Sapiens. My all time favorite is Lord of the Rings.
Stephen King, Bill Bryson, Arthur C. Clarke also go on the list

Favorite movies: Spirited Away, The Shining, Blinkende Lygter

Favorite bands: System of a Down, Archspire, Groundation, The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have trekked in the Himalaya and the Atlas mountains, slept in the streets of Los Angeles, dived in the Andaman sea, walked on Hawaiian volcanos and hitchhiked thousands of kilometers.

The most valuable thing traveling has given me is an unyielding belief in humans: As a species we're far from perfect but the average earthling is, in my experience, helpful, generous and compassionate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy teaching, so if you would like to learn how to juggle, I'm the man. If you would like to learn a tiny, incredibly difficult to pronounce language that is spoken by less than 6 million people in a small country in northern Europe, I am more than willing to teach you Danish :)

Spanish has become a hobby of mine, and I always would love to learn something new or discuss some of its more obscure grammar. I would also like to learn new recipes, though I am by no means a talented cook. And one day, if I feel brave, I would like to learn tango! But most importantly, teach me about your friends/city/hood/beach/mountain/beliefs!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm good at making friends and talking with strangers, so I can offer a prime Danish friend. If you're up north for a visit, I can offer you my couch if I'm home
