About Me

I'm a 22 year old chef, beginning my big venture out into the world, I left Australia for the first time in November 2014 and I don't plan on heading back home for quite a while! My current goal is to live and work in the Netherlands for one year!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for an intimate travel experience, hanging out with locals and other travellers. The best part about travelling are the people you meet along the way!

Interests

I love cooking food, learning about other cuisines and cultures. I like walking, taking photos. Sports! Soccer, pool, snowboarding, surfing, AFL (Australia's football game)
Exploring new places, traveling, going clubbing, drinking, live music, music festivals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I tend to listen to funky downtempo DJs and producers such as Ta-Ku, Flume or Sohn
But I love so many different types of music. It really just depends on my mood!
Raggae, Hip Hop, Jazz, deephouse, trap, phychedellic rock, alternative rock.

Recently I have started reading The Power of Now. Even though I have only recently started I am already noticing the positive influence it is having on my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completed a month long solo hitch hiking trip throughout Japan! Probably the greatest thing I have ever done with my life so far! It was amazing living with Japanese people and learning about their culture for a month. I found their way of life so fascinating and eye opening. I have so much respect for their way of life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some interesting travel story's, a tasty dinner and fun activities! I have a knack for finding free events in cities :)
