About Me

Attention! Please do not send me request in more than a mounth in advance (okay that is also pretty early) For me it's hard to even know what i am doing next week so i actually prefer same week or last minute requests! :D i mean ofcource you can ask if i can host you next july but i just cannot answer much anything. I might be living in Siberia or dead that far in the future or maybe the world doesn't even excist anymore.

But so about me:
A new phase is starting in my life, I just moved to Helsinki in January from my hometown Joensuu. Last year I have just been travelling in the north and also frustrating around in my home town for some mouths but now I am starting taking art courses in Helsinki before trying to apply in some art schools.

I enjoy experiencing and creating art (especially visual arts) and I laugh at sick and random jokes. I could say I'm quite an impulsive, openminded, humorous person, and often also quite emotional. I want to keep my life interesting and variable and I love to make spontaneous adventures and to meet new people. Some people who don't know me might find me first quite calm and quiet, but my friends would say the opposite. I want to challenge myself by trying different things and stepping out of my comfort zone.

I love:
-my life
-people
-mysterious modern art
-painting
-athmosferic places
-aesthetic places
-anything aesthetic
-spontanious adventures and unexpected happenings
-travelling alone
-secondhand stores
-granny clothes
-sad music
-having party and doing everything crazy and creative with my friends
-challenging myself
-self-examination
-documenting my life by writing down things, photographing, filming (as you might have noticed, I don't have problems with writing down things, I have problems with stopping it)
-to feel I have done something etically/ecologically right
-northern bare nature
-Iceland
-Lappland area
-Tromsø (this obsession is a big part of my identity)
-hiking in nature
-deep, interesting conversations
-finding a host on couchsurfing :)

I don't like

-useless plastic junk
-big city centers full of rush
-being lonely
-living too stable life
-any kind of racism or inequality
-gender/heteronormativity
-sleeping in bushes (if it's cold) (depends on the bush)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is such a great innovation! It gives people a great opportunity to get a glimpse of different cultures and different people and it's exciting and fun. I have had great experiences on couchsurfing. People are usually very open and friendly, and you can get to known people from all over the world and learn something about their culture and the place you stay. Once you know a local you and if you get well along together you might get to know their friends and get invited to happenings and parties and then you have friends and connections in a new place.
Local people can also tell you about the best bars, cafe's and other places and show something that they like in their hometown. It's much more real travelling than staying in a hostel or hotel. I like to travel in interesting ways and really get in touch with the place I am in.

Interests

I am really interested in arts, (wow that's new) and I paint, draw and do filming and photographing. I also play the piano, ukulele and a bit some other instruments... I love travelling in interesting and fun ways (fuck i said it fucking many times already such creative) like hitchhiking and couchsurfing, and ending up in new cool places. I love to meet new interesting people and get to known them. (Oh really?? Didn't write it already in three other sentences.)
Okay what else. I love to think about life and world and my feelings and thoughts and find new things and new ideas.
By the way this is my blog for my painting stuff: ainoseppa.blogspot.fi
