About Me

I am an exchange student studying English Language and Literature, currently in Maribor, Slovenia but regularly Antalya, Turkey. Since my childhood, I always try to be multidimensional person, my soul is also multidimensional so I get on well with me. I am the only child of my parents, so I have grown up relatively alone. That's why I love loneliness. It may sound introvert which is ok, but actually I don't feel so. I can talk with strangers easily but I am not good at including them to my special area. Because I have overcome some severe disease, which I am still challenging with some, I don't want to break someone's heart or don't want to leave a bad mark on this earth. The thought of death actually makes me alive. What a creepy words for 'about me' , but it's about me. Additionally, I am kinesthetic person, I love to perceive the things by touching and experiencing. This explains also why I like travelling.

We can get to know each other when we share some moments. I miss turnip juice, raki and hot chili baby-pepperoni pickles.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I don't like living in templates and being static. I mean booking a hotel is not for me since it doesn't include any story in it. I want to live the life as a movie which is exciting to watch. By couchsurfing, I can find more dynamic and twisted plot for my life story.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is hard to squeeze all things into here.
As for movies, I am mostly the follower of some directors like Tony Gatlif, Bahman Ghobadi, Kryzstof Kieslowski, David Lynch, Ingmar Bergman, Quentin Tarantino, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Reha Erdem, Andrei Tarkovsky, Emir Kustarica, Lars Von Trier, Stanley Kubrick... and so on, but I am also open to the new directors , new waves and perspectives.
I don't want to drown you more with too many lists about musics and books. We can discuss and share if we have time to talk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think every kind of sunset or sunrise , or solar eclipse, or the collective working of ants, cat purr, flying birds are amazing but we're missing to read these beauties since we're unsatisfied and unaware.
Anyway, as for what I did, my volunteer friends and I collected edible leftovers such as vegetables, fruits from open market and asked supermarkets for some goods whose expire dates were too close and after getting all stuff, we cooked for people for free. It was for sustainable life and to draw attention of people to how much products we have wasted all the time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I may help hosts cook dishes and clean their home, give my love their pets. I love keeping silence or I can talk whatever they want as long as my knowledge allows.
