I'm an engineer, very passionate about nature and sustainability. I worked for a year in finance, but quit to create a company doing sustainable architecture (www.vertinvertical.com). Also, co-launched a hub for entrepreneurs in Bogotá, Colombia (www.tierrafir.me).

I did a MSc in Sustainable Energy at Imperial College London and now work in renewable energy in the U.K. If home, and with space, I would love to host you in London.

Besides nature and sustainability, I'm passionate about travelling, getting to know other cultures, cuisines and languages. Travelling gives you perspective about your life and a more understanding and empathetic view of the world. I find meeting people from other places and contexts very nourishing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting people from different countries and backgrounds, and couchsurfing is the right place to do that. Right now I'm up to meet, host or surf! Doing a West Africa trip at the moment.

I love my country, and had the fortune to travel all around it. I can tell you about amazing places in Colombia, in my city and or from the countries I've visited.

I can share my experience, my interests, my place and my friends. I cannot host you in Bogotá right now, but I can still get you in touch with nice people to hang out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love many types of music: some colombian folk music (Cumbia, bullerengue), house, techno, rock and reggae. I love 'The Beatles', 'The Strokes', 'Devendra Banhart', 'The whitest boy alive', 'Muse', 'WhoMadeWho' etc. etc.

Lately I read a lot of books in sustainability and entrepreneurship. Although, I keep some novels around when travelling. I have enjoyed classics from latin american renowned authors as Gabriel García Marques, but also books such as 'Brave New World' or contemporary novels such as 'The White Tiger'

I‘m always on the look for documentaries in topics such as nature, politics and history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exciting ones: Skydiving, 200m bungy and scuba diving with sharks are of the best I can recall. Also visiting 'angel falls' the worlds highest waterfall. Cycling from London to Paris (not as hard as it sounds)
