Overview
About Me
What I believe I am, is:
friendly, open and easy-going;
eager to learn, feel and experience more;
kind-hearted with a good sense of humor;
a bit phlegmatic (if you give me directions, you will probably have to repeat them twice);
a deep-thinker (but still a slow-thinker);
and much much more
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After daring to Couchsurf for the first time, I realized that THIS is the way I want to travel from now on! No more old boring safe stuff with tourist groups ("now we stand here for 10min; look on your left, on your right, take some pictures... well, ok, now it is 5 min toilet break..." ). This is a very superficial way of getting to know the country, culture and people there. Couchsurfing opens the door to life-changing experiences, stories and revelations that would not be possible if I did not dare to try Couchsurfing.
As an addition motivator works also my curiosity and fondness of getting to know new cultures, minds, languages and adventures. And so great if in the meantime I can make new friends, too!
(YOU CAN BE THE NEXT ONE!!!)
Interests
Literature, music, folk and latino dances, languages, sport, cultural stuff and other blablabla... Too much to count! One of the things I am most sad about in life is that there are so incredibly many things I want, but the time... is so little.

Music, Movies, and Books
It depends on weather.
But one sweet, light and beautiful movie I saw recently was "About time". I love also Marvel superhero movies (yeah, geek!), mystery ("Black swan" - amazing!), biographies ("Walk the line") etc.
Books? Probably need to mention "Master and Margareta" by Bulgakov and "The hunchback of Notre Dame" by Victor Hugo. Due to some weird reason I am really keen on Kafka "Process" (I had nightmares after this book).
Music... Love the old guys! Sinatra, Cash, Ink Spots, Armstrong etc. Also latvian music, but it probably won't ring a bell to you.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Everything I do is amazing. Pfff... :D
But honestly - dared to Couchsurf!
