About Me

I finished my studies this last March, and I took the opportunity of going on working holiday in South Korea. So here I am now, living in Seoul, trying to learn the language, working and travelling. I could consider myself as a friendly, calm, tolerant, open minded & a smiling person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm starting to travel this year to various places and I love the idea of knowing a new place from their locals; it's definitely the best way to enter in the culture of the place. Since I just stay in a goshitel here in Seoul, I'm not able to host anyone but I wanna be able to surf in many cities.

Interests

Reading, playing music -mainly singing, and a little of playing piano-, cooking any vegan food with any ingredient available (I've been trying to make a lot of korean or korean inspired dishes lately!), eating, tea, coffe, beer and wine. As a life goal, I want to learn as many languages as I can like french, japanese; korean. Now I'm giving korean a chance. Travelling is definitely a passion for me. I'm also vegan, which is a big part of my life. It can be difficult at times but I try my best to stick to my beliefs. I respect everyone's decision, and a lot of people has helped me here to find best options for me :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to different styles like soul, jazz, indie, folk, chilean pop, k-pop, alternative rock. I love The Beatles with all my heart, and I have to say I'm also really into BTS (not crazy fan btw).
Movies: Love Woody allen, Tarantino, American Beauty, Trainspotting, and LOVE Ghibli films.
TV series: Breaking Bad, Gossip Girl, some anime like Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter and anything from the 90's. I also enjoy some kdramas.
Books from authors like Herman Hesse, Ernest Hemingway, Gabriel García Márquez, Edgar Allan Poe, Haruki Murakami, Pedro Lemebel, and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me travelling has been the most amazng thin I've done, but since I'm so young I haven't travelled as much as I want to. Still, I've done crazy things, like hitch hiking all across Belgium (From Netherlands to France). Last crazy thing I did was hiking Bukhansan with some friends, with cero experience and preparation. We ended up hiking for almost 6 hours, reached like 3 or 4 peaks, and ended up tired, hungry, thirsty, but with a great eperience that was rewarded with a huge huge meal.
Also made a friend in Gangneun in a convenience store. She was the cashier, who was having a bad time and helped her. We ended up having dinner that same day!
I hope I can do many other crazy and incredible things in this beautiful country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach spanish, maybe some cooking -even though I'm not an expert or anything-, some chilean and vegan cooking.
I would like to learn other languages, the host language, about musical instruments, about musical interests and anything about the host culture.
I could share some music if you would like to hear.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would help with anything you need to, like cleaning and cooking. I would like to share any conversation about culture, music, daily life, society; I find it very interesting, and more interesting coming from someone of another country.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, United States, Uruguay
