About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm living and studying in a pretty little city in the South of France (Albi) where I'll be glad to share a chat/visit/coffee with any couchsurfers passing by. When I can I also go on little trips to discover new places and meet people.

ABOUT ME

Curious, open, easygoing. I like meeting new people, travelling, learning languages and getting to know more about other cultures. I love food and always have place to try new recipes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've worked in a hostel during a while and meeting people was the best about it. When some friends told me about couchsurfing, it seemed a great way to keep on sharing stories with other people and visiting new places at the same time, it sounded like a window to a wider world.

Unfortunately I cannot offer a place now, but I'd like to as well, when I will have the opportunity.

Interests

-Languages, learning about them, reading, writing
-Theatre, watching and performing. When I'm at home I like to take part in the local theatre group plays.
-Music, singing
-Travelling
-Hiking, walking in the city or nature, dancing. I started going to yoga classes not so long ago and I really like it
-Food, tasting new things

Music, Movies, and Books

Since I don't have a favourite book, I'll just mention one I read a few years ago: 'The Five People You Meet in Heaven', by Mitch Albom.

I enjoy reading drama as well. 'Allò que tal vegada s'esdevingué' a catalan parody of the Genesis from Joan Oliver, one of the funniest I read.

Teach, Learn, Share

As said above, I like learning about culture and language. I'd love to learn to play the guitar, but just watching people playing it is great as well (and maybe joining in with some singing).

What I could share with hosts is some laughing, chatting... stories, some little knowledge about my country, tips if they are planning to visit Catalonia, Dundee (Scotland was my home for a few months) or Albi (my current home) and some catalan cooking. I find words amazing so I like puns, word games, word-playing and anything related to them (meaning, origin, uses, etc.).

Countries I’ve Visited
