I was born in the state of São Paulo, in a nearby town called Jundiaí and I am now living in Campinas. I was a quiet and attentive, child took all the games seriously, as a teenager I discovered the art and the theater and I'm in love today. I did my undergraduate degree in Fine Arts and now I am Art teacher and also work with scenography and costumes. I love art, politics and culture in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know people who use Couchsurfing and I've heard very well the system. It's great to think about planning a trip and know that there is a possibility to stop a host that has people around the world looking to meet people, get them in their homes and show some of their culture, this makes it a much more enjoyable trip with sure, make friends and meet new ways of thinking and living. I believe that this system also makes the travel cheaper, because in addition to not having spent on lodging, which is an expensive item from a trip the host can give you good tips and cheap things. It is also interesting to know new cultures is an important experience.

Interests

My biggest interest is art, I believe that all human construction of the sensitivity and that is what art is basically. Through art we can build very interesting relationships with people and the world. Was in the theater that I found my class, there had 'strange' people and I loved it, I love the diversity since they are on the edge of my values, because not stand violent, aggressive and prejudiced people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Milton Nascimento "Clube da Esquina" is my favorite. Just watched "The Godfather" and enjoyed. Right now I'm reading a book by Brazilian set designer JC Serroni called "Notes of a set designer" where he tells the story of Brazilian scenography. I love how some artists Brennand and his painting, I love Wassily Kandinsky, Anisk Kapoor and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to say something incredible that I did, because it is something relative, maybe I have never done something amazing, I take a very ordinary life. One of the things I did and that made me really happy was having participated with a group of young students of the Prague Quadrennial, our work was selected to represent our country Brazil and that was pretty exciting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk about things that the host or surfer cares about my country mainly related to Art and Politics, I can show art groups in my town and also the São Paulo capital. I also like to know a little about the history of life of the host or surfer, know how your country. Can I share some of my story of life and routine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very responsible and usually leave things organized if you cooked or cooked together'll make a point of washing the dishes. I'll take a small gift of my country Brazil as a souvenir to my host and then pay some lunch or dinner.
