I've lived in Israel more than a year in an own apartment. Back then I also joined Couchsurfing.
Right now I live in Halle in a shared apartment for my studies. I have two girl-flatmates.
Because our appartment is pretty small and we dont have an extra guest or living room I can only let one person at a time stay with me on the comfortable matrass I've got in my room :D
