¡Hola! Mi nombre es Javi, y será un placer conocerte 😉
Nací en Sevilla, y tras muchos viajes y vivir en varios lugares he vuelto a casa, aunque no sé por cuanto tiempo. Conversar es una de mis pasiones, pero también la naturaleza, viajar, el cine, la lectura, el senderismo, la política y los Derechos Humanos.
Soy biólogo, y después hice un Máster en Antropología Social ¡Me parece una combinación muy interesante! He trabajado en diversas cosas, pero sobre todo en ONG’s, docencia y educación ambiental. Para ser honesto, intento llenar mi vida con otros aspectos aparte del trabajo, como por ejemplo voluntariado y activismo.

Hi! Mi name is Javi and it will be a pleasure to meet you 😉
I was born in Sevilla, and after travelling a lot and living in many places I have came to my home, but I don’t know for how long. Talking is one of my passions, but also travelling, nature, films, books, hiking, policy and Human Rights.
I am biologist, and after that I studied a master degree in social anthropology. I believe that it’s a very interesting combination. I worked in lot of things, but overall as a teacher, NGOs and environmental education. To be honest I try to fill my life with other stuffs apart of my work, like volunteering or activism.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Todo el mundo suele escribir en su perfil que es abierto y que le gusta conocer gente de otras culturas. En mi caso es cierto. Realmente creo en un estilo de vida diferente, y en relaciones enriquecedoras con el resto de la humanidad y el planeta.
Me gusta mucho la posibilidad de conocer gente diferente, gente que no es tan sencillo encontrar. Uso CS como un filtro social. ¿Qué tipo de personas busco aquí?: Pues te lo contaré para que puedas decidir si escribirme o no. Busco personas que me aporten cosas, y a las que yo también les pueda aportar; es decir, que nos retroalimentemos. No busco personas exactamente iguales a mí, pero sí que tengan al menos algo en común.
No me gusta usar CS sólo como una manera de no pagar alojamiento. Intento no usarlo así y me gusta que no lo usen así conmigo; por eso te agradezco que leas mi perfil y que menciones la palabra LIBERTAD en tu mensaje para saber quien no lo ha leído. Prefiero conocer personas que estén viajando solas y con lentitud, y que quieran compartir tiempo, charlas y aventuras. Si además tu viaje tiene un componente de locura y aventura aún mejor.
Quisiera añadir que mi casa es un lugar seguro, donde aprecio la bondad y la diversidad. No hay discriminación por razones de género, raza, creencias, nacionalidad…

Everybody writes in his/her profile that is very open minded and that they like to meet people from different cultures. In my case is true. I really believe in a different world, with better relationships between people and nature.
I like a lot the possibility of meeting different people who are not that easy to find. I use CS as a social filter. What kind of people I am looking for? I tell you, so you will be able to decide if you want to contact me or not. I look for people that provide me new things, and also people who I can provide, so I want a feedback. I am not looking for people who are exactly like me, but at leas with something in common.
I don’t like to use CS only as a way to not pay for an accommodation. I try to not use it like this, and I like that people don’t use in this way with me, because of this I appreciate that you read my profile and mention the word LIBERTAD in order to know who didn't read it. I prefer to meet solo travellers, travelling slowly, who want to share their time, adventures and conversations. If your trip has a crazy part and adventures, better!
I would like to add that my home is a safe place, where I appreciate goodness and diversity. No gender, race, beliefs or nationality discriminations.

Intereses

Me gusta mucho la naturaleza, es mi verdadera pasión. Últimamente estoy esforzándome en tener un modo de vida lo más sostenible posible, y en la medida de lo posible autosuficiente. Viví en una ecoaldea durante un tiempo y fue maravilloso, así que intento replicarlo en mi día a día en Sevilla.

Música, películas y libros

Mi libro favorito es La Historia Interminable. También son de mis preferidos Las Voces del Desierto y Siddhartha.
Respecto al cine, no sabría qué decir. Para elegir mi favorita me debato entre Cinema Paradiso y Mediterráneo.
En cuanto a la música me gusta mucho Sabina, Silvio Rodríguez, Ismael Serrano, Guccini…, aunque el rock también me apasiona.

My favourite book is The Neverending Story. I love as well Voices of the Desert and Siddhartha.
About films, I don’t know which is my favourite one yet: Nuovo Cinema Paradiso or Mediterraneo.
About music, I love Sabina, Silvio Rodríguez, Ismael Serrano, Guccini, but I like rock as well.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hice un viaje por España sin dinero ni destino. Fue maravilloso! El objetivo del viaje era vivir una gran aventura y comprobar que el mundo está lleno de buenas personas. Descubrí que es completamente cierto 😉
He visitado muchos países, pero hay dos que no están en la lista de CS, así que los escribo aquí: Nagorno Karabaj y Transnistria.

I made a trip through Spain without money and without destiny. It was amazing! The objective of the trip was to live a great adventure and to verify that the world is full of good people. I discovered that it is completely true ;)
I have been in lot of f countries, but there are two of them that they don’t exist in CS list, so I write it here: Nagorno Karabaj and Transnistria.
