I am a 21 years old Brazilian. I study at the Florida Institute of Technology, I'm an exchange student. I will stay in the United States until August, when I have to return to Brazil. In my country, I used to live in Sao Paulo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel that an important part of discovering a new place is to have contact with the people that lives there. Discover what are their habits, what they like to do, places they like to go in the city and what are our similarities and differences. Couchsurfing is the easiest way to do that and it gives me the chance to keep meeting interesting people.
Also, I love to travel. My goal is to meet as many places as I can during the one year I am staying in the United States. Couchsurfing makes much easier for me to find accommodations in the cities I go.

Interests

I am an active person, I like to go out and meet new places. I am always open to new experiences. I like to meet different people, especially from places I don't know.
I love to travel, luckily I got the chance to know most of the places I wanted to in the US. My next step is to go to Europe, I've always wanted to know countries like Spain, England, Netherlands and Germany.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. Although I listen to many different genres I prefer more classic artists, mainly of styles as rock, blues, jazz and hip hop. When I arrive in a new city I like to go to places where local musicians present themselves, as bars and pubs.
