Overview
About Me
I am a dream maker. I love taking challenges, learning new things and testing new solutions. I've been a tutor, a forum administrator, a chairwoman at the school parents council and a pro-health NGO founder. I like projects and teamwork. I work in the Gdańsk University of Technology, where I run a big project for PhD students.
I've got two fantastic sons. They are 7 and 11. We live in a two-room flat with my husband in a nice district of Gdańsk.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling, discovering new places and getting to know people. Although I haven't used this portal before, I hope it will appear to be a lifetime adventure.
Unfortunatelly, travelling with kids is quite expensive, and isn't so easy as travelling alone. I hope couchsurfing.org and all these wonderful people gathered here, offering their rooms and flats will help us find an easier way to make our dreams come true by hosting us as their guests.
Interests
I love mountain hiking, especially in the Tatras, which are my true love. I am keen on long walks, a nice book read on a couch with a mug of hot tea. I like experimenting with gluten-free recipes, which I have discovered because of my son's allergy and diet. I love my bicycle. I cycle to work and make a whole family excursions.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to different sorts of music and it is always difficult for me to indicate my favourite band, performer or gender.
One of my favourite books is "The Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov.
I like old Polish movies, especially comedies, which still make me laugh.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned Esperanto for a while :-) I still remember this short rhyme about travelling, although I wouldn't be able to translate it now :-(
"Kun vizo kaj valizo
vojaĝis al Parizo
knabin' el Varsovi'.
Vojaĝis mi kun ŝi.
Obstino de l' knabino
jam ĉe la pola limo
forlasis dece ŝin.
Ni ridis ĝis Berlin'.
Dumvoje, ho tre ĝoje,
ŝvitadis mi plurfoje
sub ŝarĝo de l' valiz'
helpante ĝis Pariz'.
Kaj tie tradicie
ŝi dankis min gracie:
"Ĉarmulo estas vi,
ĉar ― mulo estas vi."
Teach, Learn, Share
Our flat isn't big - just two rooms. My children share one room and the other room - our living room - is my and my husband's sleeping room, too. Therefore I cannot offer you any accommodation.
I can invite you for a cup of tea or coffee and a board game round. I can bake a delicious cake, especially a gluten-free one.
I can take you round. I live very close to the sea and I know beautiful places in my neighbourhood.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring you some souvenirs from my beautiful city and a bottle of wine :-)
