Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Started out because I was in Europe on a budget. But soon realized the many benefits of staying with locals. You learn so much more about the culture, get to see first-hand what everyday life is like, and make friends all over the world! Seriously, how cool is that? Can't travel without CS now.

Interests

My life's passions revolve around music, food, and literature. Also hiking, the beach, art, bike rides, and craft beer are all things I earnestly seek out while at home and abroad!

Sociology & psychology and elementary education are my "scholarly" interests. Oh, and real estate! Fun stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Power-washed, sanded, primed and painted an entire house one summer for a trip to Costa Rica.

Worked in the restaurant industry for 10+ years.

Hiked in the Swiss Alps, the jungles of Thailand, and the Hollywood hills.. all in the same month.

I can teach you how to cook.

I'll learn anything; no subject bores me.

And I brought my guitar with me on the road, so definitely can share that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation, a home-cooked meal, drinks or a coffee, English / Spanish lessons, basic guitar or piano.. I'm also very capable of doing dishes!
