I'm pretty easy going. I spend a lot of time exercising in the outdoors. Gave up alcohol at the time I got my motorbike when I was 20. Seemed a sensible thing to do. Over the last few years I seem to always be studying something part-time, with my latest being French language and also gathering qualifications to move into the financial realm away from being surrounded by 4 computer screens all day.

For exercise I tend to head towards climbing gyms, inline skates, my bike or water sports. I also spend a couple of years learning to sail each weekend.

When I'm not doing all of the above I also write a column for the local newspaper. I think it puts a perspective on life when you try to explain how crazy the worlds really is at times to others.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I think its a great way to meet people from all different places. I have hosted a number of people (from another site) and made some really good friends. In so many ways it seems better than being isolated in a hotel.

Interesses

Climbing, cycling, skating, scuba, sailing, hiking, reading, writing, renovating houses... the list would go on all day if I let it. These are the main things though.

Music... 80s (not too loud, do I sound old?)
books... Dan Brown, Timothy Ferris, Jason Tezar would be my favourite authors. Its light reading, and fun. I try to keep away from the heavy stuff after completing MBA.
Movies... anything except horror movies. I have a huge collection of Cartoons, comedies SciFi and actions movies.

Swam with giant turtles in Samoa, cycled down from the volcano in Bali, Bungy jumped in New Zealand and Thailand
