About Me

I would probably describe myself as a very divergent girl and not in the bad way of the word. I like to explore new things and to challenge my weaknesses. I'm very curious about the things that surround me and I believe in the kindness of strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While meeting people in Egypt, I had the chance to talk about Couchsurfing and getting to know how this service works. I fell in love with the idea and thought it would be great to meet new people, make contacts and welcome them to my country. I guess I would be that type of host that would invite guests to know everything about my country and culture. Travelling is nice, but it's even better when you see more than just pretty places.

Interests

In this moment my interests are focused in making my world a better one. This means not closing my mind in little things and trying to experience everything I've never done before. Learning is a major factor to me so I don't want to reject the chance of getting out of my comfort zone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music to me is life, I like taking advantage of the opportunities life provides me and that means getting to listen to all type of music. I don't like closing my mind to one gender.

I like movies that entertain me and that have a message in the back. That means I'm not a big fan of thriller movies or scary ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In December of 2013 I decided to do something different in my life. I had always been an activist so I decided to contact an organization and do some volunteer work for December 2014. I spend my 2014 saving money so I could achieve my goal and finally I did. On November 28th, 2014 I was catching a plane to go to Egypt. There I stayed for 2 months teaching English to children and travelling when I had the opportunity.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have the philosophy that every person that comes into our world arrives to make a change. I can't possible know what I can share with someone unless that person gives me the opportunity to just open up and help them out. I guess in the end, every person decides what they want to learn form someone else. It depends of their necessities.
