I love languages, probably Polish is the only language where I have reached a level that I am particularly proud of, apart from my native language, English, of course ;) - however, I am kind of in the process of learning German (mainly) and Italian, although I would say that I haven't reached very far.....yet.

Music is my biggest passion, I listen to all sorts, my favs are Anohni/Antony & The Johnsons, Mary J Blige and Sia (before she became commercial). Apart from those artists, you will generally find me listening to some quirky female singer, a la Bjork, Regina Spektor, Feist etc...or a soul singer, a la Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, India Arie.

Of course there are many Hollywood films that I enjoy, but I do feel it is overrated, I much prefer European cinema, namely Polish, Spanish & French. Pedro Almodovar & Andrzej Wajda are my favourite directors.

Catcher in the Rye is my favourite book, I have read it many times, not only in English but in Polish too. I already have a German & Italian copy so that I can read them as soon as I am sufficiently fluent in those languages.
