Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Julia, a friendly Canadian who works remotely for a US-based travel tech company in the Niagara region, Canada (I'm 20 minutes away from Niagara Falls!). My job is taking me to Spain January 11-20 to experience Barcelona and Madrid like a local.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Solo travel can be a little lonesome. It's one thing to be a tourist and see ALL the sights, it's another to meet and connect with the people and really get to know the local flavour of a country... as well as to make some friends along the way.
Interests
I'm a fairly balanced person in all that I do. I sometimes work out, eat healthily, I sometimes indulge (ice cream). I love movies, serendipitous moments, intelligent conversations, animals (I have an Aussie shepherd mix named Rolo), dancing to a good beat, and finding the goodness in life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that stirs the soul. Though, sometimes a bit of superficial fluff is fun too. Classical, hip hop, alt, top 40; dramas, comedies, period pieces; fiction and non.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit my corporate job, packed up my life in Toronto, and bought a one-way ticket to Europe.
