Overview
About Me
Hi! We are John and Kyla, a young married couple from Pennsylvania. We both regularly quit our jobs to travel and volunteer wherever we go. Our first international trip as a married couple was a 3 month stay in a small village in Uganda. For the last few years we've been volunteering through HelpExchange and Workaway. We hope to continue traveling because we love seeing all of the beauty this world has to offer and we enjoy making new friendships along the way!
Sorry, neither of us have a facebook page.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Our all time favorite movie is Lord of the Rings (we know, there are 3 of them...they are all the best!)! We also like the Dark Knight Trilogy, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and most kids movies, such as Megamind, Up, The Lion King, Tangled, and Monsters Inc.
Lots of good books, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, anything by Donald Miller (our favorite is A Million Miles in a Thousand Years), and Love Does. We also enjoy reading books about nutrition.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few that come to mind- We went skydiving for our one-year anniversary, we hitchhiked the entire way around Iceland, we went shark cage diving and bungee jumping in South Africa, volcano boarding in Nicaragua, and we trekked for 3 weeks on our own in Nepal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of stories, a listening ear if you care to share your stories (we love hearing about other people's adventures!), and a friendly, easy-going personality.
