Hello,
I am an open- minded Austrian guy who loves to meet other people and their culture. This is the reason why I studied abroad in Spain, Germany and the UK.
Right now I'm back in Austria and sadly my roommates don't want to share our couch and so I can't offer one.
I am from a small village right next to Vienna, in which I can enjoy the country life and the big city at the same time.
My father is a farmer, so I am really connected to the rural life. I am also a member in many traditional clubs and so I could show you typical Austrian parties and festivals. I can also host people at my father's place which is outside of Vienna.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said I love other cultures and meeting locals is the fastest way for that. Another advantage is the cheap stay in another city, to be honest ;)

Interests

Next to my quite solitary hobbies, reading and watching art-house films, I love to go out and meet friends and other people. I enjoy a night in a club in the same way like a beautiful trip into nature, a nice chat next to coffee or beer or a visit to museums.
I'm not the sporty guy but when I do sports its ether swimming, skiing or biking.

And of course traveling is also a big interest of myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is always changing but listening to sad music like Sam Smith and happy classic songs like lemon tree by fool's garden is something what I always enjoy.
If I watch TV I always try to watch art-house films, I love the German Channels ARTE and 3Sat. But I also enjoy a cinema night with friends in a Hollywood blockbuster.
My favorite books are historical novels by Ken Follett or Rabecca Gabel but also classics like Ansichten eines Clowns by Heinrich Böll or Cien Anos de solidad by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I am also happy about good advises.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a tricky one...
Right now studying abroad is the most amazing thing I've done.
I'm not the brave guy so I have never stopped a thief or have done bungee jumping (but I wish I could do both in the future).

I also have some good alcohol stories but I wouldn't say it was done amazingly...

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you dancing, speaking German and chemistry.
I also cook but I wouldn't say I'm a really good one but we can share our knowledge.
