About Me

Someone trying to figure out what life is about... I'm loving the experience of travelling and realising how big this world is (and ironically small at the same time) and how much different people can be of all that I had thought most part of my life!
I was raised in a small town in the south of Brazil, and I lived there for 24 years and 8 months of my life, when I moved to Dublin to stay for one year. Every day here is an opening-mind day. I enjoy this.
I'm a bit of confused person, wondering about meaning of life and things that are beyond most people's comprehension, but most of the time I'm a normal person :)
I enjoy spending time with friends, no matter if it's partying and drinking, or just talking or going for a walk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To discover a different way to travel, to meet different people, with different ideas, to experience the local culture and see how it works to help other people as well, when I come back home!

Music, Movies, and Books

So many songs I love! Black, Last Kiss - Pearl Jam, Ironic - Alanis, Numb - Linkin Park, so many from Metallica, and then there are the spanish ones, like Shakira and Maná, and finally brazilian rock and roll, Legião Urbana is my favourite band ever!

I watched the movie Mr. Nobody at least a dozen times, but I could watch it again and again, because its message is so deeply complex...

The books I'll never forget and want to read again are the trilogies "Lord of the Rings" and O Tempo e o Vento (Time and the Wind, by Erico Veríssimo).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First one: foving to Ireland (honestly, I had never thought about living abroad, sometimes I still wonder how it has come to happen)!

The most amazing: hitchhiking with a friend from Berlim to Athens, visiting most of the countries in the Balkans, sleeping in a rocky hill in Mostar with the stars for a roof, walking across the border between Macedonia and Greece and camping nearby the same border (some say it isn't allowed) because nobody would give us a ride!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have too little to teach and too much to learn... but I can share my experiences, a little knowledge of brazilian culture (it can be very different of what you think!), my infinite questions about life and this world... I can teach you Portuguese, how to prepare caipirinha! Cross stitching? (Very old fashioned!!) I've to learn how to control my mind better! (And how to write About Me sections)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Questions about the world, a good laugh, some beers... I don't know, ask me and I'll tell you :)
