I am currently on my big bike trip from Vienna to Stockholm, before I am starting my PhD studies in bioinformatics there.

I am also a flexigan (I eat vegan, if it doesn't bother anyone, but don't mind not to) and straight edge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel to get a feeling and some understanding for another place. This hardly ever happens if I am in a hotel in the touristy districts. But I have to see where and how people live, where they buy groceries, how they get around in the city. Plus they always have the better stories about their cities than any tourist guide.
