ABOUT ME
Hey y'all!
My name is Myriam, I'm a twenteen Business Law postgrad student from Tunis, currently living in The French Riviera.
I like to think of myself as an easy going and curious person who enjoys seeing people smile, a shower singer with a strong passion for traveling, scuba diving and Art in all its forms.
PHILOSOPHY
"Hate is baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time. It's just not worth it." —Danny Vinyard, American History X
"I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person." —A. Hepburn
"We leave something of ourselves behind when we leave a place, we stay there, even though we go away. And there are things in us that we can find again only by going back there." —P. Mercier

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: pretty much everything depending on my mood, and from different parts of the planet.
Movies: animated films and everything Allen, Almodovar, Anderson, Burton, Cohen brothers, Coppola, Dolan, Fincher, Godard, Iñaritu, Kubrick, Leone, Lynch, Nolan, Refn, Ritchie, Scorsese, Singer, Spielberg, Tarantino; "Amelie", "American Beauty", "Another Happy Day", "Dead Poets Society", "Detachment", "East of Eden", "Hiroshima mon amour", "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", "Into the Wild", "The Lord of the Rings", "Old Boy" (Park Chan-wook), "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", "Persepolis", "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring"... ok enough! Well, I have a lot of favorites hihi
Books: too many to list, but my all time favorite is "Le Petit Prince" by Antoine de Saint Exupéry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking with a friend for a month around South-East Asia was quite the adventure! I also have amazing memories of my volunteering experience in Siem Riep, Cambodia.
Back in 2009, I went on a class trip to Syria, and one day our teachers took us to the Israel-Syria border, aka Golan Heights —we saw minefields, UN soldiers, destroyed abandoned buildings (e.g. school, hospital), used ammunitions scattered on the ground... As a teenager, it really helped me put things into perspective.
