About Me

I am an open minded person who love going out for some live music with friends or just for drinks!

PHILOSOPHY

"Spread your love like a fever"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to see the world through the help and eyes of locals, and helping other too.

I went to Europe on 2015 and I had a couple of awesome experiences with CS, so I want to make people feel at home like they did with me.

Interests

Obviously Architecture; Art & Design too as well as photography. I love to cycling and play the guitar, also I suck as guitarrist (but I used to play bass in a band). Parties are good, everybody likes, but sometimes is better to go camping, or both togehter. Go to the movies is nice, and motorbikes are beautiful machines.

I'm not interested in "normal tourism" I prefer to look the outside, the real places and people. I'm not interested on being millonaire, I don't have that type of ambicious.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very open to listen music of every kind, funk, soul, dub, afrobeat, house, but what I really loves is rock'n roll; all styles, from earlys 50's rockabilly to 80's hardcore, from 60's pshychedelic bands to contemporary Indie. I'm a big fan of 70's hard rock sound, my favorites are Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, MC5, Blue Cheer for example.
Now in my Ipod: Anderson Paak, Babasonicos, Common, Daft Punk, Fugazi, Goat, Iggy Pop, Kendrik Lamar, Kraftwerk, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Mad Professor, Portishead, Todd Roundgren, Slowthai, Thiago Pethit, Tim Maia.

I'm not what it calls a booklover, think because I have to read a lot for my carrer so I'm quite lazy to make some time to others books. Although I enjoy a good book, I read a pair of Bukowski's books, The Shining (Stephen King), Galveston (Nick Pizzolatto ), An Unquiet Mind (Kay Redfield Jamison) How the music works (David Byrne), Just Kids (Patti Smith) I like those styles of writings. Now reading: O Homen duplicado (José Saramago=

On the opposite with the books I'm a little cinephile, I love watch cult classics, bizarre and indie films, even some bad movies, those ones are pretty funny and good when you want have nothing to think, but I hate most of romantic comedys and soap operas.
Most I enjoyed: "Vanishing Point" "From Dusk Till Down" "Eyes Wide Shut" "Go!" "Match Point" "Enter the Void" "Todo sobre mi madre" "Nymphomaniac" "Matando Cabos" "Incendies" of course all of Tarantino.
Last I watched: "Boyhood" "Mommy" "J'ai tue ma mere" "Doogtooth" "Coherence" "Soul Kitchen" "Synecdoche, New York" "Love" "Victoria" "The Hateful Eight" "Timbuktu" "Room" "The Witch" "Sicario" "It Follows" "Beyond the Black Rainbow"
In matter of series my favourite was Californication, highly recommended if you want to laught! also I watched "Six Feet Under" "True Detective" "Breaking Bad" "Games of Thrones" "Hannibal" "Mr Robot" "Utopia" "Black mirror" among others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ELEA (Encuentro Latinoamericano de Estudiantes de Arquitectura), annual international architecture's students meating. Meet, share, learn, help & discuss with thousends of people that are in the same position like you but in different context.

I traveled with my partner through Europe (DE, CH, BE, NL, HU) for a month, was my first experience planing a big trip by my own and the best thing I did so far, watch bands, see art, ate great food, buy records, basically living the cities and architectures I never been before.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love a good beer and good coffe, we can shared our experience on drinks, I hope learn tips and where I can get a great beer.
I like to cook too, hope you can teach me something.
Obviously if you want to tell me about arquitecture and culture of your country, I'll be more than grateful.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to cook for you if you want, or simply share and enjoy a good meal, ggood conversations will appear.
Grappamiel, is a typical drink of Uruguay based on honey, a sweet beverage very welcome during the winter, I promise to have one on hand.
Riding bike in Montevideo's Rambla. It's simple, it's one of the most beautiful places in Uruguay, and by bike is the best way of enjoy it properly, I've got the lucky to go there every time when I can.
Music! why not? Uruguay had a really good music culture, and had some pearls from early rock and roll bands, you need to know about "El Kinto"for example.
All Uruguayans drinks Mate, and I'm not the exception, we can share one!
