MISSION
To learn as much as I can about different cultures and their cuisine.

My name is Ruby. I am a 23 year old who recently graduated from California State University, Channel Islands. I Will be starting my masters in social work at USC. I grew up in California ,but I come from Mexican parents so I consider myself a Xicana ( if you don't lnwo ther term I can tell you more about it). I love learning languages and meeting new people. I spend much of my time playing with my dogs. I'm very curious to learn about people although I can be a little shy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find that when traveling you get a better idea of the country if you stay with someone who has lived there. I believe that is where you truly immerse yourself in the culture and learn the most.

Interests

My interest include: Hiking, rock climbing (even though I'm scared of heights), Relaxing with my family, dancing, I love to dance traditional mexican dances. I'm willing to try just about anything. Oh yeah before I forget I love Karaoke.
