About Me

My name is Guillermo and I am 18. I live in Madrid. I am a full time student who's now taking a gap year before university.
About me, I think I am a happy person, outgoing and cheerful. I am calm and easygoing. I am a relaxed person but I am also sportive and active.
All in all, I think I am a happy young boy who is willing and eager to learn, travel and have fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

TRAVELLING EXPERIENCE

Apart from the many countries I have visited, I have done Three exchanges with other countries which were all amazing: One week exchange with Casablanca, Moroco. One week exchange with Rennes, France. Three months exchange with Sarnia, Canada.
This last summer I did the Santiago Way (Camino de Santiago) in Spain. I did it by bike with some friends. 900Km. It was awesome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new here. Not experience at all. I joined in when I decided to travel but didn't want to spend much money. I love travelling but it can be really expensive. This website gives us the opportunity to travel and get to know new people through and exchange, in which you host and get hosted for free. I think it is a great idea.

Interests

About "the world", I love travelling and visiting new places, getting to know new cultures and meeting new people. I would like to travel the whole world. I really enjoy learning languages, and I am currently studying english and french. I have travelled a lot but most of the times doing the typical stuff: only visiting monuments and taking pictures. I really want to travel in a different way: getting inside the life, culture and people of the place.
About my studies, I like science in general and I will study a degree related with it (probably chemistry or physichs)
About my hobbies, I really enjoy doing sports and outdoor activities. I like sports in general but the ones I like the most and practice are: BASKETBALL, skiing, running, and biking. I also like football, and padel. Apart from that, I like reading and watching movies. I love climbing mountains as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many kinds of music. I like reggae with Bob Marley, I like Blues and Soul( Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong). I like other modern music like Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Artic Monkeys, Black Keys and many many more. I also like rock and some hip-hop.
Too many movies to be listed. And not as many books but too much as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I haven't done ONE Amazing Thing, but many little great things and I want to do many more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really know what I can teach, but I guess there will be something: maybe enthusiasm =). I think I can learn a lot, because I want to do it, and that's the most important thing.
I think I can give good young and fun company.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I am easy to satisfy. I just want a place to sleep. I won't bother.
PS: If there are nice people and nice food, I won't complain either! =)
