About Me
Hi! I'm Eliza
I was born in Paris and moved to San Diego, California when I was three years old. I decided to take a gap year and live in Paris to see if I would want to live here permanently after college. In September I will be starting at American University in Washington D.C. and double majoring in Art History and International Relations.
My goal this year is to take advantage of the accessibility in Europe to the max!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I said before I really want to take advantage of the proximity of European countries. I was referred to couch surfing by a friend and I think it's the perfect way to explore new cities but also get a bit of a feel of how the locals live.
Interests
I'm very passionate about learning art history but I also dabble in drawing and painting. Museums are one of my favorite places to hangout. I also love to go out and dance on the weekends. I love to cook and will happily cook for whoever invites me into their home. I have a weird fascination with public transportation and people watching. I Also think that walking a biking are the best ways to get around and see a city. Sometimes I like to pretend I can write... I have a shitty blog called 12 Month Fantasy.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much any type of music makes me happy, and I really enjoy it when people recommend new songs to me.
I'm very appreciative of any type of movie (I can't handle scary movies though... no way, no how). My favorite movie these days in Memoirs of a Geisha among many others. I just watched a Danish movie called Someone You Love and I highly recommend it to everyone.
My favorite book of all time is definitely The Count of Monte Cristo, closely followed by the Scarlet Pimpernel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't really think of one thing, I feel like picking one amazing experience would be rude to my other experiences... Hopefully couchsurfing will provide many more amazing encounters.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge of Art History and my cooking. Hopefully I can share my humor too but that's a two way street.
