I'm a teacher of German language, mostly for adults.
Travelling, seeing the wonderful things a country has - it is very important to me.
I'm sure you won't tell it by the pictures, but I learn some self defense, too. I'm a sort of withdrawn person, trying to be little trouble for the host - glad to chat, if you feel like talking, but I won't press, and really, I don't have demands.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Couchsurfing helps me to get in contact with local people. It encourages me to build friendships even in my shy way.

And with this community I can visit places I couldn't see without it. And the hosts know the face of the neighbourhood the tourist books don't describe. When I have surfed in Ireland our host even had a collection of useful fliers and tips what worth to see.

Interessen

I like dance, mostly folk dance. I go to Scottish dance house once a month for 12 years.
Being a bookworm I read a lot, mostly sci-fi and fantasy, but I like classic romans to.
When I'm abroad, I like going for long walks, discovering the place.
I spend a lot of time with my friends - watching movies, playing RPG or just hanging around.

Movies: LOTR, Star Wars, Robin Hood, the Prince of Thieves, Star Trek.
Books: Can't count. Harry Potter and the works of Peter S. Beagle. Asimov. It would be easier to tell my favourite author's.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Flying above the clouds at sunset. I was sitting beside the window of the plane, so I could enjoy the view for two hours. Most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

I climbed the Slieve League in Ireland. One of the highest costal mountains in Europe. Ghosh, what a wind and power of the nature! It was amazing!
