About Me

I'm a 25 year old kid from Lausanne - Switzerland, and am currently in my 6th ans last year of med school. Very passionate about nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first signed up before travelling to Australia on my own in 2015 I think, it was an amazing experience and I got to meet many great people, some of which I still consider dear friends. I believe couchsurfing, if used in a good way, allows people from different cultural backgrounds to meet and learn from one another. It's also a great way to make friends you would've never met otherwise!

Interests

I really love skiing (Switzerland is amazing for that btw!!) and skateboarding. Unfortunately my skateboarding skills are pretty inexistant because I don't have that much time on my hands back home... I also really like running hand hiking in the countryside and the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many different styles of music, but the Doors really has a special feeling to it. Always down to go to a gig and discover local music / bands and drink local beers.

As for books, unfortunately I don't read as much as I should, but I really enjoyed On the Road by Kerouac, it just has such a magical vibe to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was this bird that was stuck in the train I was riding to get to University, so I took like 10 minutes to catch him. Spoiler: he did not want to be caught.
In the end I managed and then let him go do bird things. Hope he's doing well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know two different ways to tie shoes, so if you're interested in the less famous technique maybe I'll show it to you. I also do pretty decent brownies. You can then choose between the two skills I have to offer!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking, so i'm always happy to give a hand on that side. I'm vegetarian btw and super stoked to learn/teach new vegie recipes with local ingredients. But time is the most valuable thing to share, so that's something to do. Go for a hike or visit a city.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, United States, Vatican City State
