About Me

Travelling whenever I can. I love to discover new places and be surrounded by nature. Also love to work with kids and teenagers.
I am a vegetarian and I'm on the way for a more sustainable life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to find accomodation for random and single nights during my trips.

Interests

I am interested in nature and culture. I like to go climbing and hiking to the mountains or the countryside and to discover a city on my feet. I love music and books (specially those telling real adventures).
I am always fascinated by Nature and most of times I try to understand it, so I'm always happy to learn more about Geology, Biology, Physics and all the subjects that try to explain what is happening on our planet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I normally listen to local ska and rock bands (such as Aspencat, Orxata, Brams, La Gossa Sorda...). I also like classic ska, reggae and also classical music (I love Bach!). Recently, I added some more music to the colection of my favourites, such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, Mumford ans Sons, Eddie Vedder/Pearl Jam, Against Me!...

Films that I've enjoyed a lot and that I've seen once or twice, at least, are "Into the wild", "Wild", "La Belle Verte" (looking for an original DVD...), "Donie Darko", "I Origins" or "Entre lobos".

Some books I've really enjoyed and which have inspired me are "As far as the feet will carry me" (by Josef Martin Bauer), "La volta dels 25" (by Marc Serena), "Wild" (by Cheryl Strayed) or "Touching the void" (by Joe Simpson). Also "Solitud" (by Victor Català), "Aloma" (by Mercè Rodoreda) or "El mecanoscrit del segon origen" (by Manuel de Perdolo) are books that I've enjoyed a lot. I also like poetry and my favourite writer is Vicent Andrés Estellés, from Burjassot (Valencia).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Take a hot bath in the middle of Icelandic nature, a winter, windy and rainy day, and seen the northern lights in a full-moon night :)

Educate kids and teens on summer, in different summer camps, or during the year, in a school.

Seen lots of sunsets, felt the moon, contemplated the Northern lights in a really clear Icelandic night and climbed some mountains in Skye. Also paddled around the Isle of Man in 3 days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll be happy to learn new stuff in any subject! (but specially related on outdoors and climbing :P)
I'll be glad to teach and share with my hosts what I know! :) (about education, language, baking... whatever I can talk about!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some baking skills, chating time (in English, Spanish, Catalan...), some notions about eating healthy or how food can affect on our health (seeking to learn more about it), knowledge about education (how people learn...), something about nature and my experiencies! :)
