Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a student traveler couch surfing offers a more affordable way to travel. The idea of getting to know people who live in the area instead of just associating with fellow travelers / tour guides is very exciting!

Music, Movies, and Books

There's no type of music that I don't enjoy from time to time. My ipod has an eclectic library with genres from folk to country to rap and everything in between. Huge fan of historical fiction novels but if the topic is interesting it's bound to be a good book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In high school I spent two weeks living and volunteering in Urubamba Peru. This trip had a hugely positive impact on my life and really sparked my desire to travel.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm hoping to gain as much from my travels as I can, whether that be culturally, linguistically, or socially. As I hope to be an ELL (English language learner) teacher I would like to learn as much as I can about foreign languages and maybe even help others with their English skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I'm an agreeable guy who's fun to hang out with but if that's not enough I'm great at household chores / helpful around the house work and a pretty good chef as well.
