About Me
Hullo people!
I moved to Glasgow two months ago out of love for this country and found a job there. However, I always wanted to live in the highlands, despite the isolation. I was born in the countryside and big towns make me usually feel lonely, even though my two best friends are working in Glasgow too.
But before deciding to rent a room in Ulapool or any other places around, better visit first!
About me, I would say I am pretty easy going. I have difficulties making the smallest decisions, like what to eat or where to hike, because I properly don't mind. I would rather let people take this kind of decision and go with it (not the same with big important decisions though!).
Books are playing a huge role in my life. I studied them before going on a around the world kind of journey. While travelling, I discovered I really enjoy being around people, having a good drink and going to a gig, but for a short time. It usually tires me mentally, like an old papy.
I have a passion for whales and dogs, and am deeply fascinated and afraid by oceans.
I love doing outdoors sports. I love mountain biking, hiking, bouldering, riding, swimming in lakes, kayaking. Being outside makes me feel good about myself. I love cold icy weather or a huge warm wind. Landscapes in Scotland are the most beautiful i've ever seen in my life.
I don't have a specific job. I've been doing many things these past five years. Just trying to figure out what I want to do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As soon as I want to move to Ulapool/Inverness/this part of the Highlands, I don't know a better way to get to know people. Therefore, I am not especially looking for a host. If you have some great advice about where to stay, what to do, where to camp, where to go bouldering (indoors)... I would gladly take it. And of course, if you feel like hanging out for a pint and make me discover good pubs.
