Hey there!
First of all I have to clarify something: This is not the account of a single person but of a shared flat (I just got the task to create this profile, so it's my name decorating this page)
We, Oskar, Valerie, Nils and Pina, are four students living together since August.
We not only share a flat because that means saving money, but also because that means more fun and community. It's not like in other shared flats, where everybody is sitting in his or her room, learning quietly all day (because studying is soooo time-absorbing) only coming out quickly to grab some (junk) food, but on the contrary: We cook, laugh, party, have fun, watch movies, eat and drink together.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

So, why we are here? Because we thougth it would be a great idea to bring a little bit more life in our flat. We are always interested in meeting new, exceptional, funny and crazy people who love to laugh and use every opportunity to do something extraordinary.
Moreover we think that couchsurfing is a big chance for everyone getting to know a country or even just a new place from a different view and if we can provide this chance why not doing so?
My experiences showed that being a tourist isn't fun, if you can't get in contact with the people living in the place you visit. So we want to bridge this distance and show you Dresden form our view.

兴趣

That's pretty complicated for four persons, but of course I can give you a brief overview:
Nils is our talented cook with the sharpest kitchen equipment in the world (provided that he doesn't live vegane right now), who loves to order everything in the Internet, from print-out paper to a wok.
Valerie is our chocoholic with the green thumb alternately trying to save our plants and uncountable cacti form dying and looking for the best places in town to buy chocolate.
Oskar is our round-the-world-traveller telling hardly believable stories from all over the world doing yoga in his hammock in the meantime.
And me, I'm the mummy in this madhouse, fleeing from time to time to my aerial acrobatics when I can't endure more laughing fits.

This is even harder to write down in this little box, so my proposal is, you ask everyone individually, as soon as you'll meet us.

Of course everyone of us can teach you something, you can cook with Nils, do some yoga with Oskar, get to know the best places in Dresden to buy chocolate from Valerie or learn the basics of aerial acrobatics with me.
In return, maybe you know some tricks about keeping plants alive or you teach us some new dishes from your native country.

In principle we can share everything with you it depends on what you are interested in and in which time of the year you come.
Chilling in the "Great Garden", having a barbecue on the shores of the Elbe, visiting the old parts and bars of the "Neustadt".
Maybe you are interested in medicine, dentistry, mechanical engineering or construction engineering and would like to join in one of our lectures.
