Because I think it's a very nice way to know interesting people and places, people that somehow share the joy of this kind of experiences, I like to travel and I've found that you can discover and learn more about the place you're going by staying with local people and even better, at their home, than staying in a hotel and just stay in very touristic places,
When I come back to my country I'll be happy to do the same, and show some people a nice way to stay a few days in my city,
Of course you can save a lot using this alternatives, and I'm very happy to know there's still a lot of good people on earth
