Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Principalmente para conocer a otras personas, culturas, y maneras de pensar y de vivir. La idea en sí me parece genial, y estoy muy feliz por formar parte de esta comunidad de personas que ayudan a otras personas. Eso es humanidad. Estoy ansioso por recibir y por que me reciban. :)

Algunos de mis grupos favoritos son: Coldplay, The Killers, M83, Lights and Motion, Moderat, Chromatics, Dash Berlin, Hans Zimmer, Max Richter y Moby...Mi canción favorita sin duda, es On Melancholy Hill de Gorillaz.
Algunos de mis directores favoritos son Roman Polanski, Darren Aronofsky, Michael Mann, Pedro Almodóvar, Xavier Dolan, Martin Scorsese, Paul Thomas Anderson y Richard Linklater. Es difícil quedarme con una, pero probablemente mi película favorita es Requiem for a dream.
Mi libro favorito es "El Gran Gatsby" y su autor, Francis Scott Fitzgerald, es mi preferido. También disfruto mucho a Hemingway y una buena parte de la obra de Claudio Magris. Otro libro que está entre mis favoritos, es "El guardián entre el centeno" de J. D. Salinger.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Juego fútbol al menos tres veces por semana, en unas canchas que están cerca de mi casa, y suelo escoger a los más chicos, de entre 10 y 13 años, para que jueguen conmigo, a pesar de que jugamos contra gente de mi edad, entre 18 y 24 años, ya que de otra manera no jugarían, porque la mayoría los considera demasiado pequeños. Y hace poco, jugando con ellos, logramos ganarle al equipo más fuerte del parque. Un triunfo muy sufrido y luchado, pero que me lleno de satisfacción, y me demostró que con corazón y coraje, todo es posible. Al final, la mayoría de los que nos vieron jugar, nos felicitaron a todos y eso fue realmente muy bonito. Una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido, me sentí muy orgulloso por escogerlos y confiar en ellos.

I play football at least three times a week, on a field that is close to my house, and I usually choose the boys, aged 10 and 13, to play with me, although we played against people my age, between 18 and 24 years, and because the little boys otherwise would not play... most considered too small. And recently, playing with them, we beat the strongest team of the park. A win really suffered and struggled, but it filled me with satisfaction, and I proved that with heart and courage, anything is possible. In the end, most of those who saw us play, congratulated us all and that was really nice. One of the best experiences I've had, I felt very proud for choosing and trust them.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Como dije antes, de todos y de cada situación se aprende, me considero en ese aspecto, un aprendiz que intenta sacar el máximo provecho de las experiencias que encuentro y que me encuentran. También considero, que como toda persona, tengo algo que aportar y/o enseñar. Por eso la importancia de compartir, porque este verbo conlleva en uno solo, el enseñar y el aprender. La vida vale la pena, sólo si es compartida, lo mismo la alegría, el amor, la felicidad y las cosas más fundamentales de la vida, que son por las que uno vive, y las que lo mantienen a uno en pie.

As I said before, we can learn of every person and situation, therefore I consider myself an apprentice who tries to make the most of the experiences that I live. I also believe that as a person, I have something to contribute or teaching. Hence the importance of sharing, because this verb includes into one, teaching and learning. Life is worth only if shared, like joy, love, happiness and the most fundamental things in life, that is why we all live, and keep us upright.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Compartir con ellos una muy buena plática, desde los temas más banales hasta los más "profundos", sobre los lugares que conozco y que conocen, experiencias de vida, viaje, consejos...escuchar y ser escuchado. Contribuir de alguna manera en sus vidas y hacer que el momento o momentos que compartamos, sean divertidos y memorables.
