About Me

Hello! I'm Pallavi and I am an Urban Development student in Germany. I am from India and Canada, and living in many places planted the travel bug in me. I absolutely love mountains and feel like a mountain girl at heart. I really enjoy climbing and hiking. And hence, I'm always down for some adventures too.

I seem like a quiet person initially, but after a bit of warming up I will laugh at and sometimes also crack really bad jokes. I am a great listener and also can share some of my travel stories. I absolutely love food and beer, and believe no travel experience is complete without doing a local street food marathon.

Most importantly, I am a simple person, don't have crazy expectations, and I am mainly looking for a great experience every place I visit. And it would be nice to share that experience with other hosts and travellers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling! Getting to live with locals and exploring with them is truly fantastic. There's great cultural interchange, and it allows to see the place, enjoy the food, culture and music, through a local's perspective. Also, CS so far has opened up amazing avenues for insightful conversations that are truly thought provoking.

Interests

Well there's far too many. I have a new interest every other moment. I love watching football (Liverpool FC), hiking and climbing, jumping rope, going on road trips, live music and concerts, playing guitar, sketching, digital art, photography, reading, space, street food, beer and science fiction.

There's so much more! The beauty is in discovering a new interest and that only happens through exposure to new ideas, thoughts, people, places, etc.
