Overview
About Me
I'm a Korean born and raised in Paris. I love my city. I have the luck to get to do what I like as my job: drawing.
I'm a 2D animator in Paris. I like the fact that per project I get to meet new people new area new ways of working. There's always something to learn and share. Something you get to know. To understand.
Human experiences are the most important for me and my job is all about that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a couch surfer because it's all about that! Working on trust and confidence in each other. What's better than visiting a new place you know nothing about than through somebody living there on a regular basis?
I think it's the best way to discover a country. Like me for instance, if you come to Paris I'll show you the Paris that touristic guides don't talk about.
I'll show my favorite spots and through them why and how young Parisians live!
And I'm also using it because I'd like to travel too and would love to get to know the countries the same way.
Interests
Definitely hang out with my friends!
Have a pinte or two (I love Belgium beer).
Go to clubs. Singing at a karaoke.
Do some sports. Jumping rope. I enjoy some dunks at basketball.
Play video games like Mario Kart or Call of Duty.
Cooking pastas!
I'm a very outgoing person who likes to party and be with people but I also need my times alone and doing things on my own from time to time. I like doings things for myself too. Like for example, the simplest thing : a time with my dear cigarette and coffee looking at the streets and just chill.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to listen to a lot of different things. But I guess the main genre I listen to is hip hop and R&B (NERD, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kanye West,...). I have my times when I need my French rap (IAM), my French songs (Vanessa Paradis, Dalida) and my K-pop (Big Bang, 2NE1, Roo'Ra, Bi, Lee Hyori, G.O.D)
I also like electro music (Daft Punk, Justice) but I enjoy some time country music (Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, June Carter) and listen to classical music usually when I work (Chopin).
I like watching nicely written movies where dialogues have their importance such as When Harry Met Sally or when the main subject has a deep reflexion like Planet of the Apes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After four deceiving years after high school of nonsense, I took a year and worked in a restaurant full time and successfully passed the entrance exams for the best school in Animation located in Paris after having tried 6 previous times!
And I kept working the first two years half time in order to pay the tuition fees by myself. It was very hard and I had to minimize my hours sleep down to 5 hours per night only but I am glad I did it. I proved myself a lot of things in the process.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the best French slang ever!!!! Ha ha
Explain you, in my opinion, what are the differences between the cultures I know (like french and Korean, or French and American)
Learn from you new recipes, new cultural differences or similarities, new musics!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good spots to visit in non touristic places in Paris. Good bars and restaurants. Bakeries. Typical and not too expensive are places I go! ^^
And also if you have the time and are coming to Paris, I recommand to you to go to the south west of France next to the Spanish frontier, or take the train and go on the north west French coast to Deauville or else, go up north to Brussels (Belgium), to Amsterdam (Netherlands) and to Berlin (Germany).
