Overview
About Me
I am from Uruguay currently studying at the University of St Andrews. I ended up here after traveling around Europe, as I wanted to study philosophy in a quiet peaceful coastal town, in a very different cultural context from the one I grew up. I am a passionate traveller, mostly on nature - big cities are a strong impact on me, a good one, but id rather be in nature. I am also a yoga teacher, and really enjoy the process I am going through in regards to teaching/ guiding people through the yoga practice, which I believe is very important and would love to introduce as many people as I can to this practice. Studied architecture for an year, constantly went to different informal courses about literature, philosophy, theatre, art ateliers and now I am really enjoying the big philosophy degree. I would love to get to know more and more places in this world, and couch surfing I think is a great way to make this dream available to me. I also really like meeting the people I stay with, instead of going to a hostel. I am very flexible with 'formalities' - i would love a cosy home with a host that is willing to meet their guests as I would like to meet the host

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
that moment of complete happiness and fulfillment when, after traveling from Uruguay to Peru, going through the North of Argentina and Bolivia, being far away from the ocean and having experienced no rain at all - i experienced the sublime feeling of water coming down to earth - Ollantaytambo, a town in Peru... water was invading the streets, it felt like i was getting filled up with energy from the universe. And yes, this is just talking about rain...!
