About Me

A girl learning psychology, interested in people and the big (and not so big) questions of life. In love with theatre and arts, good music, unforgettable experiences and cheescake. Allergic to cats but still loving them. Thinks no person should die without: experiencing a singing party by the camp fire, dreaming under shooting stars with someone important, doing something crazy you never thought you would, tasting oreo, reading one of Shakespeare's works, having one dream come true, having a bucket list. Her bucket list contains visiting as many places on Earth as she possibly can, and living a life of diversity and adventure. That would be me. (:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because our planet Earth is one amazing place only waiting for us to discover its wonders and reveal its secrets - as many of them as possible. :3

- Not much experience yet, but eager to get some.

Interests

Theatre: I had drama class in high school, acted in school plays and also directed one. Drawing: the perfect way to express any sick or not-so-normal thoughts I have, I just need a paper and a pencil and some chillout kind of music to awaken my artistic self - and that's the perfect 'getaway from real world.' Writing: the same reasons as drawing. :3 To sum, any kinds of activities through which I can express my creativity.
I also love baking (only I'm not very good at it), travelling, hiking, trying out new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Err, music... *takes a deep breath*Jack White (and The White Stripes), The Beatles, 60's hippies (haha, it rhymes), Tame Impala, Noah and The Whale, Of Monsters and Men and charming Icelandic music (Sóley is the true Queen) folk and world music Manu Chao, Fela Kuti, Florence and The Machine and last but not least Walrus in the Sunshine (you might not know them yet but you will!)
Well, movies... I like fantasy, adventure and anything original with an inspiring atmosphere. Just a few examples: Cloud Atlas, Fight Club, The Lord of the Rings, Edward Scissorhands (and basically everything by Burton), Coraline and my all-time favourite Disney movie is Hercules. However I'm not really a horror type and I consider the Twilight saga as an unforgivable crime against humanity.
My taste in books is quite similar, Cloud Atlas is definietly a winner here as well. I also love Émile Ajar's The life before us, most works of Daniel Keyes, The Master and Margarita, Shakespeare, Ibsen, Csehov, and someone please shoot me otherwise this list will be endless...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting into a Tame Impala concert in Munich with a friend for free, just by walking around with a sign saying "tickets pretty please" and acting cute and smiling. Security people even helped us out with a random bottle of beer they'd found there when the weather got cold.
