My name is Javier. I grew up in Buenos Aires and became a musician playing guitar, violin, viola and bandoneon. When I was 20 years old I moved to Salta (northern Argentina) and spent a few years in that wonderful area. After a short period in Switzerland I spent two years studying in United States . In 2006 I moved to Valencia, Spain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting travelers and be able to be a host for those days, sharing experiences and have fun!
Same thing when the traveler it´s me :)

Interests

Music is a big part of me, I love listening, playing and sharing music with people.
Although I mostly play classical and tango I personally listen to all styles, here some of my favorites: reggae, ska, rock, electronic.
I love traveling a lot, especially when meeting different cultures.
Biking, hiking, theatre, reading, or just talking with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had an amazing opportunity to share with my two friends Lucho and Juan a trip trough Nepal-India-Turquia-Thailand for two months and specially crossing the himalaya to the tibet in Nepal doing the Manaslu trek for two week was and unforgettable experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar, violin (courage!), spanish or just my recipe for argentinian empanadas.
I´m also willing to practice my basic tango dancing skills ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Meet for a drink, share some parts of town together.
At home I have a mattress and a small separate room where to sleep.
